WELCOME– AS USUAL
The sun rises every morning, as do you too, and when night falls you go to bed, just as normal.
It is true that some days you get up a little earlier or later and sometimes you go to bed early. But you get up and go to bed every day. That is the way things are; it is the normal everyday rhythm. It’s a habit.
When God’s temple, God’s house was in Jerusalem, the sons of Levi served there every morning and every evening. They praised and glorified God by their words and their songs.
For us too, it is good to think about God every morning and every evening. It is a good habit.
Here is a list of habits. It is up to you to decide if they are good or bad habits:
Saying “Good morning” to your parents every day / washing your hands at mealtimes / pushing past everyone else to be the first to get something / taking your mobile phone with you to your bedroom / always saying: me, me, me / saying “thank you” when someone gives you something / talking with God every day / saying bad things about others / tidying your things / always saying “no” / sitting too close to the television screen / helping others/ …
Let me encourage you to take up a very good habit: Always ask God, your Father in heaven, to help you to have good habits and to keep you in the good way that leads to eternal life: Jesus.
The Lord says to you: I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.Psalm 32:8
